COVID-19
It is requested that all patients that are referred to us for minor oral surgery under local anaesthetic procedures produce a negative lateral flow test the day of their procedure.
PATIENT REFERRAL CENTRE
We are happy to accept referrals from General Dental Practitioners, Community Paediatricians, General Practitioners and local Hospital Consultants. Referral procedures are made quick and simple with our referral packs in full accordance with the General Dental Council Guidelines. Please contact us for the supply of referral packs or forms required.
WHEN TO REFER
If you have any doubt about making a referral, we are happy to advise you. The rate of malpractice claims in dentistry and other medical sectors in on the increase, and misdiagnosis or failure to refer are among the main reasons patients make such claims. We are particularly keen to encourage referral of suspicious lesions or growths and have the expertise to handle diagnosis and treatment of these areas. In all instances, we are happy to discuss the necessity for referral of individual cases.
