At Kensington Court Clinic our number one priority is the safety of our patients and staff. Many businesses over the last couple of years have had to adapt to continue to operate with COVID-19, and Kensington is no different. We have the added challenge of how to safely conduct dental work when the main source of transmission is in and around the mouth.

On the 7th of August 2021 the Welsh Government made wearing a mask at a Healthcare provider (which includes dentists/dental surgeons) mandatory unless you’re exempt for medical reasons.

If you, or a family member are displaying symptoms of Covid-19 then we request you to let us know and we will be happy to arrange your appointment. This is so we can reduce the chances of spread within the clinic, which may result in closure and treatment delays.

If you have an urgent appointment but somebody within your household has tested positive, as government guidelines dictate we would require you to present a negative Lateral Flow Test (LFT) as well as a Covid-Pass to show your vaccination status.

We understand that this might be seen as a controversial issue, however we are governed by the local health board so are bound by law to follow and enforce the rules.

Our priority is always our patients and our aim is to help as many patients with their dental issues as quickly and as safely as we can. We will not tolerate any verbal or physical threats due to frustration on the matter.

We look forward to seeing you.

Kind regards,

Heather Larcombe
